Medical client located in the United Kingdom seeking a stronger presence in the United States on company name, brand and targeted keywords. Since the website’s content is medically regulated, Purple Trout is limited to update the content at will. However, we chose to specifically focus on improving Page Titles and Descriptions; initiate an aggressive link building plan and publish press releases and articles focusing on the company’s name and brand. Currently, this client has 21 keywords ranked No. 1 in Google and 18 other keywords are in the Top 10. Overall, traffic to the website is up 400% since the project started.

Concession equipment and food supplier sought help from Purple Trout in reaching new dealers worldwide through higher rankings on targeted keywords in search engines. This client’s website has nearly 3,000 pages and a large keyword list. The challenge was not only to improve rankings and traffic, but maintain high results as the client transitioned from an old website to a new website. With the client’s previous website, we were able to reach Top 10 rankings in Google on 30 keywords, but continue to improve with higher rankings on nearly double the number of keywords on the new website. In most cases, a new website can see a drop in rankings until search engines crawl the site.

S&P 500 client sought to reach an international audience to attract more customers to its training and certification courses. In doing so, specific landing pages were translated and Google Adwords (pay per click) campaigns were created to target China, Russia, Singapore, Brazil, Spain and Mexico. Targeted keywords and ads were then translated for each country/language and campaigns were activated. Client is receiving a 2-5% click thru rate on all international campaigns. Note: Click thru rate is determined by the number of ad impressions and ad clicks.

Mental Health Facility Increases Education, Outreach

National mental health facility wanted to connect, educate and communicate through several social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and a blog. A Facebook page was created to inspire and inform on difficult mental health issues. It grew in popularity to nearly 300 fans in less than a year with many clients now regularly posting their personal success stories and testimonials. Facebook is currently generating the second-highest amount of traffic to the facility's website (following Google). Meanwhile, Twitter is being used to share information, mental health tips and upcoming events. A blog was also created to generate new content, articles and press releases.
